As part of our art direction for Close, Closer, the third edition of the Lisbon Architecture Triennale, we created the website close-closer.com. The online platform provided a space for the curators of Close, Closer to pose a series of questions that has resulted in submissions from visitors in Portugal and beyond. The multilingual website is populated with thousands of responses—from irreverent to profound—which form statements of the Triennale’s crowd-sourced, dynamic visual identity and return public statements to the public square.
