Paco Rabanne’s Fall/Winter 2021 collection is an affirmation of decadence, pairing subversive bourgeoisie with a domestic and cinematic allure. We joined forces with the creative director Julien Dossena to design the special edition publication Your Room Your Dreams. The book replaces the FW 21 physical show, which is exclusively presented digitally this season.

The image layout captures the collection through a series of freeze-frames in the tradition of Muybridge’s motion studies. Film stills are refracted, repeated and re-sequenced across the spreads. The title Your Room Your Dreams is embossed in gold foil on the front and back cover of the olive cloth-bound book. A Liberty print used in the collection reappears as the book’s end papers, linking together a continuous sequence of images.
