Zak Group is hiring a Senior Graphic Designer with a specialism in brand identity projects. At Zak Group the designer will work with people, institutions and brands guiding the trajectory of contemporary culture.

The Senior Graphic Designer is a versatile role at Zak Group and should have the ability to lead the creative output of multiple client projects and Zak Group initiatives. The designer will conceptualize design proposals, and develop original ideas and visual concepts. Experience with 2D motion graphics and 3D animations is preferred. The candidate is enthusiastic about how culture, brands and communities can intersect.

This is a full-time position in-house at the Zak Group office in London.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 2–3+ years experience as a Senior Designer.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director to respond to client briefs and develop design proposals.
  • Lead the creative output of multiple projects by distributing, briefing and reviewing work and providing direction and feedback to team members.
  • Work closely with senior staff to lead a multidisciplinary team of in-house designers and freelance collaborators on project delivery.
  • Take ownership of projects by ensuring work gets delivered to a high standard, on time and conscious of commercial obligations.
  • Develop original ideas and visual concepts.
  • Create original artwork and graphics (with numerous options) for branding and identity projects.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; must be able to create clearly structured presentations to articulate concepts and design approaches to clients.
  • In collaboration with the Director of Projects and Operations, work on all aspects of a project’s management, including costing, budgeting and scheduling to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard.
  • Cast freelance creative collaborators across disciplines depending on project needs.
  • Create and build strong client relationships.
  • Experience creating 2D and 3D motion graphics and researching motion behaviors and graphic systems.
